On Tuesday 27.11.07 Dr. Ferdinand von Alvensleben, HOPPECKE Production Manager, handed over a cheque for € 1,000.00 to Mrs. Dohle, Manager of the Hoppecke kindergarten.
At the HOPPECKE Open Day on 29.09.07, during the company’s 80th anniversary celebrations, many visitors were able to acquire a commemorative coin for a minimum outlay of € 2.00. These unique specimens were cast live on the day by Hendrik Albrecht and Andre Seiler, both industrial apprentices with a special interest in casting. The total proceeds were generously rounded up by HOPPECKE.
The Hoppecke kindergarten, which takes small children from the age of 2 upwards, currently has 44 children on its books. The children and staff of the kindergarten, which has been in operation for over 4o years, were delighted to receive this unexpected gift. The funds will be used for, amongst other things, new exercise equipment.
