FNC®-T benefits:
+ exceptionally high resistance to cycling
+ extremely low internal resistance
+ very short charging times
+ minimal maintenance requirement
+ mechanical and electrochemical stability

There are a number of advantages over pocket plate and sintered electrodes:

  • FNC®-T electrodes have pure active material. This means that there is no carbonate formation and electrolyte changes are unnecessary.
  • The elasticity of the carrier material gives FNC®-T batteries a long life in service and high resistance to cyclic loading.
  • 90% of the electrode volume is active material, as against 50% in other systems. Energy density is therefore much greater.
  • The dense conductive structure (300 m/cm3) leads to low internal resistance, high discharge currents, enhanced efficiency and longer maintenance intervals.
