BICaT II is a data logging and transmission system for traction batteries.

Its task is to identify the battery and to record electrical data relating to charge/discharge and battery status.
This data may for example be read from hand-held terminals or else transmitted to other peripherals, e.g. battery chargers.
Battery faults are also logged and displayed.

BICaT II is thus the basis for a variety of applications such as:

• Battery monitoring
• Protection against deep discharge
• State of charge display
• Protection against running dry (option)
• Servicing
• Battery charger control
• Leasing/rental
• Fleet management system

BICaT II is suitable for all battery systems.
